When you do not need to see a doctor:

Repeat prescriptions

If the medication you need is on your repeat prescription and your review is up-to-date you can just request the medication on-line or at the reception.

Cold, cough or headache?

You can find useful information about how you can help yourself when suffering from minor conditions on the NHS Choices website.

Also it might a good idea to speak to your pharmacist. Most of the Lambeth pharmacies operate Minor Ailment Scheme under which, you can consult the pharmacist without an appointment and they can prescribe and dispense any medication that is required for treatment. If you are usually exempt from prescription charges then you will get any medication you require free of charge. You will not be able to get any regular medication you are taking through this scheme.

Suffering from minor eye conditions, foot problems or feeling low or anxious?

Lambeth offers a wide range of specialist services available directly to patients.

Visit the self-referrals section for more information.

Contraception and STI screening

You can visit one of the sexual health clinics in Lambeth which offer walk-in appointments every day.
