Self-testing kits for STIs
You can also request a self-testing kit on-line and test yourself at home. It is worth remembering that many people with sexually transmitted infections (STIs) have no symptoms. They can pass frfom one person to another during sex, especially if youe don't use a condom.
It is a good idea to get tested, especially if you have recently changed partners. Most infections can be cured.
Self-referrals to antenatal care
You don't need to see a GP if you don't have any health concerns! All of our local hospitals accept self-referrals from patients. Get in touch with the hospital as soon as you find out you're pregnant.
